Should i go for a Nikon D700 ?

Like Realspeed, all but one of my lenses are FX ready (I think!). As I will keep my D300 anyway for wildlife and motor racing, I'm so tempted.... just need to find a mint s/h example for sale nearby!

Guess its the temptation of getting a new camera ie D700 while they are still available. Having got lenses etc for it and keeping the D300 as a reserve backup and also saving lens changes seems logical to me, maybe not to others. I am always looking and trying to be prepared for the future when I may not be in the position to be able to afford such a camera, old age creeping on you see , who said senility???:wacky::wacky::LOL:

Reading some of the D700 reviews/threads on TP, some might argue it would be senile not to join the D700 owners club!! :)
