I am trying to decide if I should keep the canon 1.4x converter.
* I have used it maybe 10 times in 3 years, mostly in the zoo when I had the membership
* It only fits my 70-200mm f/4 IS, which is ironically sharpest at 135-160mm
* It only gets me to 280ish mm which is too short and too slow, but slightly sharper than interpollation
* I want 400mm+, but can't afford it
* There is the sharper mkIII version, maybe 2X
* AF is too slow for anything fast moving with TC and non fat white lens.
My lens shopping/upgrade plan is 100mm L, 16-35 II, and 70-200 II in that order. This could be over 1-3 years depending on many things.
So YES or NO?
