So as the title suggests, I'm wondering if refurbishing an old Edixa-mat would be a good idea.
I was given several old cameras by my Grandfather and this one was my favourite, probably part of how I got hooked into photography. Being probably a good 20-30 years old it understandably looks a bit beat up and has the odd loose screw or weak looking seals and parts.
It still works fine, although the metering is out a little sometimes. I sometimes avoid using it though in fear of damaging it or it breaking, which is a shame as it is a great camera.
Should I decide to have the work done, does anyone know of a good quality reliable workshop that could do it?
