Hey All...yes...another camera bag thread.

My brother has the event Messenger 150, and I found that too small...however I liked the design. Its kinda like a camera bag without looking obviously like a camera bag.

They also do a 250 in this range. Before I spend the money on this bag, if anyone has one...and if they do...do they think it will fit my kit or if anyone else can suggest another bag that will do the job. It has to be a messenger type bag.

My kit as it stands

Canon 50D
18-200mm Canon lens (want to be able to have this in bag with taking lens off)
50mm 1.8 Canon
17-85mm Canon Lens (to be swapped for a 17-55 as soon as funds allow)
Canon 430EXII
Panasonic SD700 (size of a 70-200L Lens)
Plus accessories...ie batteries and memory cards.

Any help will be much appreciated.

Thanks

i just went to the local market and found a bag stall. got a cheap shoulder bag less than £10. just fine for general walkabout.

Thanks for the tip...but would want a bag that had moveable compartments. Don't want all the kit to get damaged at the bottom of the bag.

I've narrowed my list down to this:

Crumpler Cupcake 7500 Coffee Shoulder Bag
Lowepro Event Messenger 250
Tamrac 3447 Rally 7

I've ordered them, and will send back the ones that don't fit the bill! Will update on my findings!

Cheers

Just thought I'd post my results from checking the bags out.

The crumpler one was nice, but there was no way it would fit all that kit in.

The event messenger was best size for the kit. Well padded and adjustable. Fits all my kit in with space to spare for a few essentials. Got all my batteries in, including the chargers and memory cards.

The tamrac was much larger than the lowepro event messenger, so didn't unpack to check it.

So I've decided to keep the lowepro and give the others back.

Cheers
