Show me a picture of your B+W Kaesemann's

Seem like an odd request, but there's some method in my madness.

A certain website is selling two second hand Kaesemann CPL's that appear identical but the text written around the rings are different. One of them may not be entirely kosher, or it may be that one is older than the other. Who knows.

But a picture of your filter along with when you bought it would be very helpful indeed! Also your opinion of it's capabilities would be fantastic.

mine say's " 77 SLIM GERMANY B+W" It also has the plastic cap as well with "SCHNEIDER OPTIK KREUZNACH" on top (as well as the protective case)

'B+W Made in Germany F-Pro' on the outside rim
'B+W 77 KSM C-POL MRC' on the inside rim.

Came in a B+W box, with plastic case, but no plastic cap. Mmmm, very different from the poster above. I'm worried about what I have now! I always thought KSM meant Kaseman. This will be interesting.

Is yours a B+W slim cpl :shrug:- mine is so maybe hence why there's prob no writing on the inside rim on mine, (unless its so minut due to the width of the inside rim )

Mine is the fat version, not the slim, and I bought it a couple of years ago new. I see the slim version should come with a cap.

I know! By the time you have the Kaseman version, slim, and MRC, they get bloody expensive! I also managed to put a tiny scratch on mine aswell which really hacked me off after paying so much. Doh!

Thanks for all the input so far guys. Much appreciated! One of them looks just like wavefront's link, but instead of C-POL it has 'CIRCULAR POL'.

Font etc is all exactly the same though, and it has the genuine box/sleeve so I reckon I'll go for that one.

Mine's like Trigs , but says "77 SLIM KSM C-POL MRC"

Very expensive and to be honest not sure if it's worth the extra over a top line Hoya
