Taken with the cheapest film camera that I own...a Holga 120 SF.

I have/had a Holga 120n myself, but daughter who is in high school right now has been using it as it has quite the cult following.
The image is beautiful. It looks looks so vintage and yet so detailed. Love it.

bigtv by Lukasz Baszko, on FlickrThis rather saddening shot was taken with yet another quirky film camera, the Lomo LCA.
The sign says something about burns - and suddenly it all makes sense. :|

Was his name Eric?
[this may make no sense whatsoever outside the UK]
This was a quick experiment to see if I could produce an image without actually doing a print, it's out of date Lucky Film 100ASA 35mm, shot on a Nikon F4 with a 35-70, home developed and then projected onto a piece of white plastic with an enlarger (cheers Cowasaki), photographed at as straight an angle I could get with a digital camera on a tripod then into photoshop, inverted the image so it's not a 'negative' and pulled then straight perspective wise. Not brilliant but at least it gives some idea what the shot looks like. Sounds long winded but in reality it was pretty easy.
Please explain.![]()
Eric Heffer was a British socialist politician from the early 60s through to the beginning of the 90s - a firebrand of the left. He famously stormed off the platform of the 1985 Labour Party conference during a speech by the (reformist and centrist) leader, Neil Kinnock.

So, he was a very red Heffer![]()
Fantastic, I know what I am doing later in the week
Hoping to get my first wet prints done then too if I can lift the enlarger and sort it![]()

These are especially for and dedicated to Arthur... a couple from my last lot of film, from June [weddings kicked in after that]
All shot with Pentax P30 on HP5 film
.Zeroeseight, great set. The colour range in the first shot is fantastic.
They are really good shots in any medium but the colour ones especilally have a great feel to them
