Shutter buttons

Just been comparing my D3100 with my dads D200, and noticed his has a completely different shutter button like the film SLR's.

I dont like having to put that little bit of extra force on, to push the button all the way down (that could and sometimes has resulted in camera movement).

Its a shame they dont do the smooth motioned buttons for all cameras.

i like the one on the mk3, once you take up the slack to the half press point its a minute amount of extra pressure to activate the shutter
