Hi, I came across this app for android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dynappmics.shuttercount&feature=search_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDEsImNvbS5keW5hcHBtaWNzLnNodXR0ZXJjb3VudCJd and wondered does anyone know how to use it on a samsung galaxy s3?

Can't find any specific instructions to use it with my phone or is it only geared towards tablets with an sd card slot?

Sounds like you need to copy a jpg from your camera/memory card to your phone and run it through the app.

Doh, that sounds simple enough.

Here was me thinking of leads to connect my camera to my phone and using it as a usb host.

Trust me to over-complicate things!
