I have uploaded a photo to one of the shutter count websites and its come back with a number in excess of the expected shutter life, by quite a margin, so the question is, if a new shutter had been put in the camera would the shutter counter s/w read zero?
I'm assuming the counter is on the camera memory chip so I doubt it would be zeroed, or am I just being optimistic and my recently purchased e-bay "bargain" is in fact a dog about to give up the ghost
In fairness the seller did say it had been hard used and it certainly looks like the body has seen some action, although the rear screen seems pretty scratch free there are quite a few marks on the body, as expected.
Pictures from it seem very good, no banding, handles high speed frame rate really well etc.
