Shutter Count

Can someone tell me where I can get a shutter count on my canion 7d for mac please and is 150,000 clicks about max and what happens once this gas been reached ? Thank you

Nothing happens when you hit that, the camera carries on as usual.

Its just a rating that the manufactures have tested the shutter too, the same as a car manufacture might test an engine.

It means nothing, a shutter could break on its first ever release or could go on for millions.

Im not sure if it supports Canon 7ds, but there is a small proigram called Eosinfo from astrojargon, or go to www.myshuttercount.com

What happens is that the chance of it failing increases. As it does from the very first click as it is a mechanical part and doesn't last forever.
