What ever you do make sure the people who are going to repair the camera have the shutter on stock ready to fit. Otherwise you can be waiting weeks and weeks for Nikon to send them a shutter. It is not in Nikons interest to supply shutters to 3rd parties on a whim. Don't give up the camera for repair until they can give you a definate completion and return date.
Don't rule out going to Nikon themselves. I received great service when the shutter in one of my D300s failed and, as I remember I thought the cost was very reasonable.
