Sigma 1.4 T/C simple answer needed

I have a Sigma 1.4 teleconverter.

I am shortly getting a Canon 70-200 f4L.

Will these work together. Would really like to hear from anyone who has used them as I don't want to damage my camera or lens.

I have a Sigma 1.4x TC and I use it with my Canon 70-200 F2.8 IS no problem. Autofocus works fine too.

The 70-200 f2.8 is listed on the compatability site I looked at, but the f4 version isn't.
Hence my confusion.
I suppose the mount is identical on both lenses though.

is that sigmas compatibility chart? they only list their own lenses so would make sense a 70-200 f4 doesnt show

I just don't want to risk any damage to either lens or T/c

Just tried it - yes they do work together. Well, that was with the IS version, I presume the non-IS is the same.

I have now tried them and they work perfectly together.
