Bought a Sigma 1.4x for my Canon off an ebay shop (no one here had one!)
It's arrived ok and looks almost brand new, but i'm slightly confused, it says on the side of the convertor it's a "Sigma af tele convertor x1.4 for Canon AF" all the one's i've seen online 2nd hand (non DG's) say they are APO EX's
have also notice that it looks different to the current range, where the glass on mine looks like this tamron one
but all the sigma ones i can see online look like this, notice the "raised" area around the glass
i have seen another one that looks identical to mine, but again on ebay, different seller though, looks like a private seller
dont have my camera here at work today to test it,never know it might work fine!, did they do an early non apo ex version?!, or just an old version, copy, fake?
the ebay shop will refund it within 7 days, minus a 10% restocking fee if i "change my mind" about wanting it, what do you guys thing?
