Sigma 10-20

Hi there, you will have to excuse me I am totally new to this but I have a canon 40d and have just brought a sigma 10-20 lens for taking pictures of landscapes as I am visiting New Zealand in october and want to try and take some great shots but I am not sure which filters I need. Can anybody help me?

You could argue for ND grad or CPL but you don't need any filters.

Bear in mind that a CPL probably won't work over the entire frame though due to the variation in angle.

Id say ND grads are essential for any landscape photographer.

Get a set of graduated ND filters though you'd need to buy a holder and filter designed for UWAs or you'll get Vignetting at 10mm.
