they are great, and, what do you know, have one for sale but alas its a canon it.

I used mine a fair bit and got come great results.

Cant use them on full frame obviously

Oops that went before I meant it to. As I was about to say. I'm looking for a decent wide angle lens for landscapes. I have a Nikon D3200 and most of the reviews on Amazon seen favourable. Has anyone got this lens and have any other ideas. My budget is about £350

You could get the nikon 10-24 for about 100 more second hand. If you find the focal length isnt for you, you could pass it on without much of a loss.

I have this lens for Canon 7d. I picked it up second hand and it is quickly turning into my favourite lens. As somebody who hadn't really been a wide angle person I have changed my style a little bit to look for those wide angles all the time. For a relatively cheap lens secondhand the results are impressive. Yes there are the issues which are typical for wide angle lenses but these can easily be corrected in Adobe Camera Raw by applying the correct lens profile.

I bought one from eBay t'other week it's fab - i paid about £220 inc a UV filter and postage. You can get within inches of your subject if necessary. I took this on Tuesday..still learning

Mine was great stopped down for landscape, but it's pretty slow and not great wide open. Would have got a tokina 11-16 if I still had a DX camera

+ 1 for the tokina, although im sure you'll enjoy the sigma - ultra wides are a whole new ball game.
