Is it obvious if you've got a 'bad' one? I've never noticed anything particuarly off with mine, but I don't know if that's because I don't know what I'm looking for. I guess if I'm happy with it that's all the matters.
Marvelous lens anyway, not hugely sharp but I never made a penny from photography until I got this, but it paid for itself 5 times over within 2 months.
