the main answer is whats your working distance as that will ultimatly decide on your focal length.
if we talk 0.7m for the head and shoulder height.
in portrait orientation you need to be about 2m away
in landscape for the same height thats about 3m away.
if yuor working space is smaller maybe go for the 85mm!
