Sigma 120-300 2.8 with Canon 2x III

Can anyone tell me if the Sigma 120-300 2.8 will work with the Canon 2x III converter? I'm looking for an option to go to about 500-600mm without breaking the bank. I already own the 2x.

I've used the Canon III and Sigma's 2X with my 120-300, very little difference that I can detect, perhaps a very very slight advantage to the Canon

It definitely works and I tried my 120-300 F2.8 Sport with the Canon and the Sigma converters and I can't say I noticed much difference either way really.

The only real advantage by using Sigma on Sigma is with the latest lenses, the "tuning puck" allows the Sigma obviously for 600mm.
