I've just been talked into getting one of these for the wife after spending last sunday at Yorkshire Wildlife Park. She had her 550D with a 55-250 IS with her and was disappointed with the results at the long end.
She tried my 150-500 OS and my 70-200 2.8 IS L with 1.4x teleconverter and decided she wanted something in the middle. I've recently sold my Canon 100-400 IS L and couldn't quite stretch to another so plumped for the 120-400 OS instead. I'm sure it might find it's way into my bag and on my 60D on occasions and it'll come in handy for a backup to my 150-500 at various times.
Has anybody used this lens and if so what's it like IQ wise. We've got a 550D, 60D and 5D3 between us and can't wait to see what results we can get.
