Sigma 120-400mm

Hi guys,

Due to get my bonus from work at the end of this month and will be splashing out on photography gear. Firstly i am buying a Nikon D7000 and am looking to get a new long length lens.

I have been looking at the Sigma 120-400mm offering, i will mainly be shooting wildlife and a fair bit of motorsport.

Just wondering what peoples opinions of this lens are and if any one has got any sample shots?

I like it. Shame it does not have a focus limiter though.

I have the bigger brother 150-500 and that is an excellent lens.

I had this lens for a short time - it is slow to focus and was also not sharp enough for me. You may be luckier - but I wouldn't recommend it for what you want to shoot.
