I like it, only used it a few times found the AF to be fast image quality great, it is big and heavy and always used it on my monopod. I have used it to shoot bird flying displays at a bird of pray centre and also a jousting tournament.

Why don't you just ask the real question? There must be a real question - you're surely not just wanting to write a thesis about this lens. You did exactly the same thing on the other thread about teleconverters, but if nobody knows what you actually want to know then it's just a waste of everybody's time.

Reading between the lines in your two threads, I'm guessing that you have some sort of 70-300ish lens but you want a bit more reach, and you're wondering whether a teleconverter or a different lens would be better. Is that right? If so it would help if you could let us know what camera you have, what you want to shoot, what your budget is, whether you care about shooting handheld or tripod, etc. Then people can give you targeted information which will actually help you decide.

It's like getting blood out of a stone at times, the amount of times you try to help and the vagueness is trying. To me, it's getting regular on some of the threads on this forum.

I had it, up to 150mm @ 5.6 it's very good, after that it falls apart a bit.

150mm-250mm you'll need to shoot at f8.

300mm f8-f16 and it's okay.

400mm is mediocre with a poor keeper rate.

If you are happy with shooting 400mm @ f8 and above with pretty mediocre sharpness, then it's perfectly fine for the price though. I sold it soon after!
