Sigma 150-600mm contemporary lens for wildlife?

I have a Nikon D5200 camera, I'm looking at the above lens for use for taking pictures of birds and wildlife, also in action at distance, anyone used this lens for the same? I know the sports version is better but also out of my budget!

I sold mine very recently but I wish I could have kept it, I can't run 2 systems at the same time though.
I didn't find it too heavy to carry around all day.
It was sharp and versatile, quick to find focus too and as has been pointed out very good value for money.

I have this lens it's great I compared at a shop this lens and a canon 100-400 mk2. Both were very good. But settled for the longer reach. The sport for me was to heavy. Hope this helps
