sigma 150mm macro help.

hi there, i just wanted to ask what the differance is between

Sigma-150mm-f-2.8-EX-DG-HSM-Macro
and
150mm 1:2.8 APO MACRO DG HSM

because i am looking to buy but am confused as to what the differance is, thanks in advance.

I believe the EX range are of higher optical/build quality.
From Sigma webby:-
"EX (EX Lens)
The exterior of this lens is EX-finished to denote the superior build and optical quality, and to enhance its appearance."
Just how much difference it makes i cant comment on.
 
Sigma's current 150mm macro is an EX lens - so the non EX is either an old lens or uncorrectly described.

The 150mm macro is new (ish) to Sigma's range, so I suspect these two are the same lens, just described differently. Its a great lens.
 
i have the 150mm EX and i love it. optically great, couldnt ask for more really!
 
Sigma only do one 150mm Macro, only ever have done.

It's rather good.
