Sigma 17-35 With No Autofocus

Seen the above online listed as for spares or repairs as it's autofocus is apparently knackered. Works perfectly in manual focus apparently.

That no issue really as I use manual focus on most of my landscape shots anyway - but just out if curiosity does anyone have a ballpark figure for how much it would cost to fix the autofocus on lens such as this?

I appreciate it's difficult to say without all the details but that's all I have to go on :)

A call to Sigma might get a guestimate - ask for the worst case scenario and use that as a bargaining tool...
 
I think I know exactly the lens you are looking at.. You are saving around £90 compared to buying a fully working one so if you don't need AF it's pretty well priced.. I reckon a repair will be at least what you are saving so not much point if you are wanting AF

Yeah it's pretty well placed in the public eye :)

Honestly can't see that lack of AF would bother me.
