Sigma 18-50mm f2.8-4.5 OS opinions please?

Just ordered a Sigma 18-50mm f2.8-4.5 OS

I know its a bit late, but would welcome any views on it please, not finding hardly any reviews on the web

Had a similar size Sigma EX with constant f2.8, but hoping the OS will be of use to my shaky old hands

Just curiosity I suppose, wouldn't be the first time I had bought a wrong'un

I like the EX F2.8. I have two of them, one with motor and another one without.

It does not make sense to me using OS or VR in 18mm range with F2.8. So I may think about Nikon 55-200 VR and keep the 50mm F2.8.

Increase ISO or tripod is more reasonable to me. Maybe you should consider about Tamron SP AF 17-50mm f/2.8 VC XR Di II LD Asp.

But just enjoyed it since you have already ordered it.
