As above - which one is sharper and tougher built? Main use will be landscape (where I expect near perfect sharpness corner to corner) and some portraiture work.
It is very likely I will be getting rid of Canon mk2 f/2.8 if Elesetree don't get it right the first time round. I am certainly not buying another because mine got soft from perfect in less than a year without any help. It means it may do it again and again. The price difference could see me get an extra Sigma 50mm Art or 16-35 f/4 without paying any extra.
