Its sharp as a pin, throughout the range of length and aperture.
But its wonderfully sharp at 30mm - 50mm and stopped down to f/4 or f/5.6

Yep, it is.
I bought the 24-70 which I don't think is as sharp as the 60 (so I hear), but I love the lens....

And yes, it is 2.8 through the focal length.
I have heard the 60 is sharper than the 70, but only by a fraction, and not a noticeable amount, but the 70 has the extra 10mm reach and a close focusing macro feature.

Really good lens, its less than £100 opver in the US from Cameta if you can persuade them to ship.
