A while back I made the decision that any future lens I buy would have to be FF compatible (currently D200)
However since picking up a cheap Series E 50mm (the man in the shop said it wasn't compatible but for £10 I took a chance) I am now looking at a wide angle (standard lens on a crop sensor) for street photography etc. So any opinions on the above lenses which are on sale locally for £50 or do I put my money towards a used expensive wide angle Nikkor which will do eventually for FF and if so which one.
I quite like to idea of setting the aperture manually as per the non CPU lens so is it possible to do this on a CPU lens? - I'll be getting out my Weston next
Thanks
Peter
