When we got the 350D as the first digital SLR Sigma rechipped the lenses for the cost of postage if we had the receipts and for £20 I think if not. You need to ask them, they will tell you what can and can't be done. They were very helpful.

Sigma UK said they cannot re-chip this lens due to lack of parts so looks like i will bung it on Ebay in the film slr lens section.
