My sigma 28-70 f2.8 EX lens has developed a major problem. It seems to be leaking light in somewhere, which is causing serious desaturation and a milky quality to the images. I've been quoted mire than the lens is worth to repair soooo... Thinking about going in myself. Has anyone disassembled one of these before, any nasties I need to be aware of? Had a quick peek inside last night just lifting to mount off and immediately found an errant ball bearing and spring trying to escape!
