If any body owns a lens as per title please could you post a picture taken with said lens, would be grateful. Really trying to see how sharp they are in comparison with canon 300mm f2.8 prime.Which I am thinking of going for.

Used to have one. Not as sharp as Canon wide open and AF not as accurate but a pretty good lens for the price. It was replaced with an old Canon 300/2.8 non IS, which is a much better lens for not much more money

how can the focus not be as accurate, might need some front/back focus adjustment but not all lenses and bodies are the same,
so surely if the focus is adjusted and is spot on, it will be as accurate as any other lens, then only the body will be to blame(dependin on the af system) surely.

I found it more intermittent on AF than the Canon. It was certainly slower than the Canon which may be part of the problem and it could have been that there was some play in the AF drive system which caused it to be eratic - I don't know. I'm just reporting what I saw/found.

I know all lenses are not the same and (if it wasn't clear) I was refering to my personal experience with a particular lens and two different Canon pro bodies...

If you've tried third party lenses, you'll soon find that they may say that focus has been acquired, but upon taking the shot it will be slightly (or massively) blurred. Happens much less frequently with Nikon/Canon lenses.

tried many lenses ,nikon, pentax ,tamron ,sigma never had a problem if a lens needs adjustment
also what is a focus test chart for.
if a lens has been adjusted it will be spot on, unless its beyond adjustment then it should be sent back.

Anyway - request for a picture. In good light, and stopped down a bit, it works well.

EOS-1D Mark II, Sigma 300mm f/2.8EX, handheld, f/6.3

But, on my own lens I found it to not always offer 100% reliable focus wide open in darker situations.

Cracking shot and thank you very much for posting it,great help, many thanks to all who has replied.

Perhaps you've just been lucky then. With 3rd party primes with narrow DoF, in my experience focus issues are a lot more common and pretty apparent.
