As per title I have this non OS macro lens (about 12 years old?) and whilst It will AF with my D300s and D500, it wont with my D610. A dig around showed that it was probably a firmware update to the D610 which probably left the Sigma lens behind. Thought there was no harm asking Sigma who replied very quickly that they can update the lens firmware to work with the D610. It's at Sigma now, I will confirm it works when it's back. Cost is just £15.

Hope this helps someone I've seen this raised a few times.

Just had a similar issue with a 120-300. Sigma were very good with me too. Think the £15 is just to cover return postage isn't it? In the end I was able to find and install the previous version of firmware on my D800 and that got things working. Ought to send it off at some point.

Its free within 1st year, £5 return postage if under 3 years otherwise £15, either way it's a good way out and good service from Sigma on in my case a 12 year old lens.
