Do you know if there are two models..

I have seen Sigma 8-16mm F4.5-5.6 DC and a Sigma 8-16mm F4.5-5.6 DC HSM.. Or is it they have just left the letters out of the ad.

Anyone know.
 
No difference.

Possibly the versions in sony or pentax mount don't have HSM but are screw driven, but for canon mount this lens is only produced with HSM.
 
That means the Canon one is loads dearer then.. Barhumbug..

WEX is selling every mount for exactly the same price, all listed as HSM.

Amazon however is selling the nikon mount version £205 cheaper than the EF version, with the cheapest price I've ever seen it at £399. No idea why :cuckoo:

The Amazon ad was the one I was looking at.. so £399 is a fantastic price but not for a Canon..

Though Bignorm is doing the Canon HSM for £459 which aint bad, so not unless I can find cheaper in the next few days Bignorm is going to get some of my money.

Makes a change that the canon lens is more expensive!
The nikon fit I picked up is exactly the same DC HSM.
