Sigma 85mm f1.4

I recently purchased a used Pentax mount Sigma 85mm f1.4 for a very good price due to a small scratch on the front element.
The mark makes no difference to the IQ and body of the lens is in very good condition but the manual focus seems very stiff to me (unlike my 70-200mm OS and 50-500mm OS)

Just wondering if other owners of this lens have noticed the same or do I need to send it to Sigma (and maybe get the front element changed at the same time).

I had one in Canon fit and the focus ring felt ok to me but I suppose to be sure about yours you'll need to compare it to another lens... so does anyone you know have one or is there a shop that's likely to have one in stock?

I had a canon fit Sigma 50mm f1.4 and compared to all my other Canon lenses the Sigmas focus ring felt very stiff in comparison.
Think it's normal.
