Sigma 90mm F2.8 Macro (1:2)

Hada quick google search for reviews on this lens and dont seem to be able to find much about it?!

Does anyone have any information on this lens and average prices/whether its any good?

would I be getting the same results as the 105 with the 90mm?

just trying to get an idea of the picture quality etc

well as you can judge the focal length is longer so you can get even closer. have you considered the tamron 90mm f2.8 macro, its probably the best budget macro lens on the market at £330

I have the Sigma 105mm lens, very happy with it. Pin sharp and very bright.
Not cheap though

yeah, have had the tamron mentioned to me a few times

been looking at them and very tempting

i've been offered the Sigma 90mm for less than a 3rd of the tamron price though
