Sigma AF 1.4 or 2X Apo Extender

Will the Sigma AF 1.4 or 2X Apo Extender work with the Sigma 70-300mm F:4-5.6 APO DG Macro ?
I notice in the description on the ads they mention it works with the 70-200mm F2.8 APO EX HSM, not sure on my lens Sigma 70-300mm F:4-5.6 APO DG Macro. If it means I would have to use MF on the 70-300 then I think I could live with that. It's quality I'd be more concerned with.

I don't no, but i doubt the quality would be that good and remember you lose a stop of light so the aperture will be F8 at the 300mm end

Yeh if the lens has APO in the name.


You'd end up with an f.stop of about 7-8 though?

No it won't you need to have "CONV" as one of the facilities not "APO"
