Sigma APO 70-210 af. f2.8

Can a Sigma f2.8 70-210 APO zoom lens some 20 years old be used on a modern day digi camera.

Probably on a Nikon, unlikely on a Canon. The 70-200/2.8 models are said to be superior.

Thanks for quick reply manualfocus-g just wondered if i would cause damage to the Nikon.
Will give it a try see what happens if good will send lens to Sigma and have it serviced.
