I'm also wondering whether Panasonic will release an LX3 style camera also based on Micro Four Thirds?

I've got a DP-1 and it's has pros and cons

Pros
Great IQ for a compact, particularly for landscapes
small
Good dynamic range

Cons
- expensive
- foveon censor is it 4 megapixels or 12?, you can interpolate up with the software provided and get images that are 12 meg but out of LR they are 4 Megapixels which doesn't give you a lot of room to crop
- Foveon censor acts a bit strangely when pointed into the sun
- Annoying noise handling is not great, surely that's one of the points of a bigger sonsor?
- build quality is very poor
- camera firmware is dated

It looks like there are a lot more cons than pros, but I still love it. Havind said that, I don't use it as often as I should.
