Sigma EX Macro lens - 70 mm - F/2.8 - Canon EF

Anyone used this lens? What's it like? It got a great review on photozone as did the sigma 105 macro and was wondering which one to go for. I will use this lens heavily as a portrait lens too so any recommendations will be welcome.

although i've no eperience of the 70mm macro lens,i do have the 105 macro and it's a belter.i would recommend the 105 if you intend shooting bugs etc...but if you only intend shooting still life/portraits,then the 70mm will be fine

I think my brother has it and if so it is very nice indeed. I've a Tamron 90mm macro and if anything his Siggy looks slightly sharper.
