Yes it should be repairable. Virtually anything is repairable, so long as the lens isn't so old that the manufacturers have stopped making spare parts.
Sigma UK have a service tariff on their website here. But those are just guideline prices and you'd need to send it in to them for an estimate.

Absolutely. We use DPD and the service is definitely excellent. It's not infallible - when you're sending thousands of parcels a year you do get a few problems. But I think they're definitely better than the likes of UK Mail, DHL, etc. I think RMSD may be even more reliable, and of course they have the insurance and the money-back guarantee, but DPD's tracking and flexibility is definitely superior.Other than Special Delivery (which is indeed superb), I'd only really recommend DPD, mostly due to the fact they are the only courier to never have failed to deliver something to me on time. Being able to track the van on a map is also something I will never grow tired of!
