Sigma lens

I have been looking at the Sigma 28-200 for my Nikon D50, at the moment I only have a Sigma 35-75 lens.

Really on a tight budget and saw today an 18-200 Sigma for £100 after I traded in the 35-75 (£29 value).

However i have seen a 28-200 Sigma for £64.99 both used bits of kit, is there any benefit in trying to stretch to the 18-200 rather than the 28-200 or are there any alternatives - thanks.

The obvious thing in favour of the 18-200mm is the 18mm part, the 28-200 would be a 42-300mm equivalent on the D50 as it has a 1.5 crop factor, whilst the 18-200 would be a 27-300mm equivalent giving you much better wide angle ability, if you think this is important then it is worth it.
