Yes
having just smashed my old Sigma f2.8 apo ex 70-200mm, I have to buy another and I heard really good things about Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 EX DG OS HSM lens. I'm no expert at all so (I expect this is a daft question) will this fit my Canon EOS 550D.
Excuse my ignorance (or stupidity or whatever)

I think you should get a rubber one that bounces :D

Third party lenses come with different mounts eg Canon, Nikon, Sony, etc. so as long as you get it with a Canon mount you will be fine.
Hope this helps

hoho.

i hve found one in ProCameraShop which seems to fit the bill. Canon fit is Canon fit. All the letters signify aspect of the lens, I believe. I just want to ask the experts.

Know any ???? hehehe

I should sue the Rugby Club - after all in kiddies playgrounds they put tree bark chips round the slides. they should put rubber matting outside the clubhouse !!!!

You'd probably still find a bit of concrete to drop it. But rubber matting might be a good idea, I may not have had a broken wrist the other year if there was rubber matting

Unless the rubber matting was around 8 feet thick, and wrapped around the bar preventing any alcohol getting from barman to customer, I doubt it would have helped... ;)

I don't know what you are trying to say Mark :D:p:D

Don't confuse him even more Nod

I have a Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 EX DG OS HSM.
It has fitted on a Canon 450D, 50D & now my 5D MKiii
So a 550D will not be a porblem

Very nice lens & I am very happy with it :)

I would happily recommend it to anyone
