Sigma lenses - price increase

[welly]

Just in case you didn't know, which I'm sure you do, I spoke to Sigma UK today about getting the front element of my 50-500mm lens replaced (only £40 for the front element!) and he mentioned that there was a price increase for Sigma lenses coming fairly promptly.

Same here and got it in the sale at Jessops, looks like I may have saved a bundle overall. Price hike is not entirely unexpected, in light of Nikon & Canon doing the same in he current financial crisis.
