Sigma on Film

Hi everyone, just wondering.. would a sigma lens work on a canon eos film camera, say a 10-20mm lens?

some of them only work on APS-C format sensors (I think the 10-20 is) so definately won't work, but I don't know about other lenses eg the 70-200

Some Sigma lenses will work on EOS film cameras, but that one won't. At least, it won't work properly.

Sigma lenses with the "DG" designation will work fine on film cameras. But Sigma lenses with the "DC" designation - including the 10-20mm - produce a smaller image circle and can't fill the frame of a film camera, even if they physically fit.
