sigma or 50-500mm or tamron 200-500?

Sony 70-400mm G SSM.
Yes, it's dearer (~£1100-1200) than the other 2 but it's also better.

The Bigma is known to be 1 of those Sigmas that can have problems with AF ring gear failure on Alphas (1 of my friends had it fail twice on an A100 - 2nd time out of warranty :().
 
I've got both the Sigma 50-500 and the 150-500 but on a Canon mount. The 50-500 is heavier and harder to handle. The 150-500 has image stabilising and is cheaper. Once I am happy with the new 150-500 that I have recently purchased, when I have had a good go with it in the sun, then 50-500 will be sold.
