Just spotted some sigma len's on eBay that have just appeared £1250 for sigma 50-500 + 2x tele converter!! This seems like a good price!!

Is it the OS version? If not and it's the older f/4-6.3 EX DG version, it's way overpriced....

If you are after one of those have a look at DigitalRev (a member on here) at least you will know who you are dealing with. Just recvd my 50-500 Sigma OS.

It is the os version! Cheapest I've found is £1050 for lens!
I see digital rev sells for £1029!! Gonna have to get one soon as me and my wife's yearly trip to the isle of sky will soon be upon us!

Problem is, with a x2 converter, at the long end it'll end up being a 1000mm f/13 (??), which will probably not autofocus... not really worth it. Get it and flog the TC if it's a decent one
