Advice on sigma lens service Please. I have a 24 70 2.8 and its a little soft when opened up at 2.8,pin sharp from f5.6 to f22 etc
would i benefit from having sigma have a look,and does anybody have experience of costings /turn around time etc.
lens is 2.5 yrs old
used mainly for event portraits and works well for this,with studio flash etc,hence i haven't really worried about it,i have at times needed it for a few candid low light shots,and found myself swapping it for my 50mm 1.8,its just so hit & miss when opened up,can put it on a tripod and shoot 3 images (f2.8)all differ some reasonable some poor,camera is a new canon 50d,should add it produced same results on a canon 1dmk11 & 5d,so its not the new camera,have micro adjusted,so its more advice on
