Hi guys,
I do mainly motorsport and am looking to add to my kitbag. I am looking to replace a Kenko x2 Tele-converter with another TC and my options are a Canon X2 Extender III or a Sigma X2 DG APO and a used Canon 50mm f1.4 for similar money.
I'd be using the TC mainly with my Canon 300mm f2.8 L IS USM but may also stick it on the 100-400mm F4.5-5.6 L IS USM when I am at places with acres of run-off and blazing sunlight.
The 50mm is mainly to have a play with one and add it to my pitlane kitbag. I did consider the f1.8 but have heard bad reviews which make me understand the price a bit better.
An ideas or comments. Which way should I go? I need to make a fairly quick decision because I want to take whatever I opt for to Spa with me on Thursday.
