Could someone please post some pictures they have taken with a sigma 70-200 2.8 and either 1.4x teleconverters or the 2.0x.

Ideally could you go outside and take a picture with and without the teleconveter for me please.

The only reason i am asking this is because i have this lens and the 1.4x converter but when i use the teleconverter i find the images unusable, but no one else seems to suffer from this and i cant work out why i do???

I know about the Sigma 70-200 being soft at the wide end.

I have used a 1.4EX and a 2.0EX on a Tamron 70-200f2.8 and they came out fine the only thing is exif data doesnt register correct but heres one a few weeks ago with the 1.4

Rememer the Tamron is sharper than the sigma but much slower foccusing

If you look closely at the second photo to the left of the wave at the top....this seems to be the best focus have you had the lens in to be calibrated..... if not then maybe you should

Firstly no my lens has not been calibrated, been putting it off as i wanted to be sure it needs it, and also dont want it coming back worse.

Secondly i`m not sure what area you mean:

The area in the box is in focus but then again i was focusing on the star (center of image).???? Unless i selected the left focus point which i generally do with my nose by accident lol lol.
