A little premature, but I currently have the 135-400 and am just.. fishing for potential future options 
At some point I think I'm going to find the 400mm lens restrictive, I knew even when I got it it'd probably not stay forever, though I won't be changing for a few months.
I'd really like longer length and equal or better IQ.
Now I can't add a TC to mine without losing AF I don't think, so that isn't an option.
However I was wondering what the 150-500 was like, and also if it retains AF when a TC is put on it? Or even the newer version of mine, the 120-400?
Going to get better with mine 1st, however I'll probably be thinking of changing around november to early december, and just want to work out what I'm saving for.
My budget will probably be around £600-800 by then, certainly sub £1k, hence the fact I'm not looking at the nikon 200-400 with a 2x TC...
Although if I win the lottery in the meantime that may be it.
Only 1 other thing, I don't have a tripod and probably wouldn't use one much if/when I do get it, hence why MF is a pain, however I am happy to lug around a fair bit of weight
